Platform
Everything a clinic runs on, in one place.
Booking, portal, console, prescribing, payments, staff compliance and the evidence an inspector asks for, with the governance a regulated clinic needs built into all of it.
What it does
The whole clinic, not one corner of it.
Everything hangs off one patient record. Booking, the patient's portal, the clinician's console, prescribing, reports, payments, staff checks and the evidence an inspector asks for all read from it and write to it, so nothing is typed twice.

Booking that sells
Your services, your prices, your clinicians' hours. Online or in person, with assessment sessions such as ADI-R then ADOS-2 booked as one set.
A portal patients use
Forms, documents, appointment links and messages on a phone. Photos of ID or a report taken straight from the camera.
A console clinicians read
What is waiting, in the order it went late. One chart per patient: history, scores, notes, medication, letters.
The clinic at a glance
An operations dashboard: the funnel from referral to discharge, who is stuck and for how long, this month against last, and capacity by clinician.
Prescribing, done properly
Controlled drugs printed onto the real form, every prescription on the record, and the formulary and limits owned by your Medical Director.
The money side
Payments into your own Stripe account, invoices that chase themselves, refunds and credit notes, company invoicing and a sync to Xero.
Staff compliance, built in
Registration, indemnity, DBS, training, appraisal and references, with agreements signed online, expiries chased and caseloads paused when something lapses.
Clinical safety on the record
A safety register and governance view for the Medical Director, alongside an audit of who did what, when, and to which record.
Sign in with your Microsoft account
Staff use the clinic's own Microsoft 365 accounts: one password, one second factor, and one switch when someone leaves.
Governance
Built the way a regulated clinic has to work.
Most of the decisions inside Baton are governance decisions. They are in the software so that doing the right thing is the easy thing — on a Friday afternoon as much as on an inspection day.
- Access by role. A consultant sees only their own patients. An administrator can read the record to prepare letters but cannot change it, and never sees prescriptions. Enforced by the server, not by hiding menu items.
- Two-factor for staff. Required from a clinician's first sign-in, or through your own Microsoft 365 sign-in, never left to be switched on later.
- Records in the standard shape. Built on FHIR, the NHS's own data standard, so a record can be read by other systems and is not locked in here.
- Hosted in the UK. Patient data stays on UK infrastructure, under UK GDPR.
- An audit trail. Every read and change recorded, including ours.
- People make clinical decisions. Software prepares, drafts and chases; a clinician assesses, prescribes and signs.
- AI that shows its working. Every drafted sentence cites its source, nothing comes from outside the record, and a diagnosis is never suggested.
- On the way. NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit, DTAC, Cyber Essentials and a clinical safety case to DCB0129.
